Donkey Bridge
In Donkey Bridge, players must take randomly drawn symbols and objects and create stories from them, ideally memorable and fun stories that will enable other players to recall the objects around which the stories are centered. Whoever builds the best mnemonics – and listens well to the stories told by others – has the best chance of winning the game.
Changes compared to Eselsbrücke (not exhaustive):
Removal of blocker cards, boards, thought bubble, and linen bag.
No fixed rounds. Based on player number now.
The game is no longer one player telling a story on their own, and then the next player telling the next story, etc. Now a player plays ONE card and tells PART of a story and then the next player does the same, and then the next, etc...
Game is now played in TWO distinct phases: The Narrative Phase (where players come up with the stories) and The Recollection Phase (where stories are recollected).
No blocker cards means that whole part of the game is gone.
